Alan Henderson & Son helped to transform Teesside Magistrates Court, reupholstering the seating areas of 8 courtrooms. This seat renovation and refurbishment was to bring the court’s old seating areas back to life, the seats were old, worn and in some cases beyond repair. The client was hoping to refurbish and repair the chairs over installing brand new seating, with this in mind they were more than happy to consider the upholstery and reupholstery services from Alan Henderson & Son.
The upholstery project at Teesside Magistrates Court in Middlesbrough involved recovering seating in 8 courtrooms. The job took a couple of months to complete, this was due to the Magistrates Court being opening and the court rooms being used, Alan and his team had to carry out the upholstery when the court rooms weren’t in use.
The seating areas were stripped back and new foam was installed, the upholstery material that was used was a contract tweed, also supplied by Alan Henderson & Son. This tweed was a material that was approved to be used by the Teesside Magistrates Court.
